01 / Set the artwork boundary
Provide the wording, dimensions, color references and approved artwork revision. Distinguish decorative branding from required instructional or safety information. A decorative sign is not proof that equipment, installation or room use has been assessed. Confirm responsibility for content approval before production.
02 / Request equivalent factory responses
Ask possible suppliers to quote the same material and construction, thickness, finish, hardware and piece count. A photograph cannot verify substrate or durability. Request a specification sheet and identify what the quoted item excludes, including installation, electrical components or extra mounting hardware where relevant.
03 / Review proof and sample scope
Agree which proof shows layout and which physical sample represents surface, edge, color and mounting details. Assign a buyer approver and retain the revision controlling the order. A digital proof cannot establish material thickness or mounting suitability, and a related sample is not automatic approval for this item.
04 / Compare pack and shipment basis
Record carton dimensions, protective packaging, pieces per carton, proposed MOQ and production assumptions. Confirm a US destination and separate delivery from installation. An optional budget with currency and order basis helps compare premium, mid-range and budget preferences without treating those labels as verified supplier grades.

What does the price actually buy?
Compare complete piece counts and equivalent pack scope. A lower unit price is not comparable when one offer includes mounting parts and another excludes them. Freight and sample charges should remain separate until confirmed.
For equipment supplied alongside signs, request dimensions, rated load and assembly instructions for the exact equipment model. A sign or family-level document cannot confirm equipment safety or suitability. Review the configuration directory and flooring worksheet before combining purchasing scopes.
