Make a design request measurable
Directory names are inquiry starting points. They do not establish a model, stock level, current price or suitability for a particular room. Describe intended training use and list each assembly and accessory you want quoted. A complete package needs a contents schedule so that supplier responses can be compared on the same purchasing unit.
Provide room dimensions in inches or centimeters and identify the equipment footprint you want confirmed. Ask about material and frame construction, dimensions and rated load, resistance or weight range, assembly and carton contents for the proposed configuration. Do not derive load limits or mounting instructions from a catalog photograph. A stated rating needs its conditions and exact-item evidence.
Compare a complete purchase scope
Use quantity in pieces or sets and record how many cartons complete one set. Ask for carton dimensions, gross weight, pack ratio and packaging protection. An offer per carton should not be compared directly with an offer per complete assembly. Include US destination, receiving access and required timing; delivery and installation are separate scope questions.
Artwork or customization changes should carry a revision identifier. A sign proof, flooring sample and equipment sample can each answer different questions. They should not substitute for one another or for appropriate site review. Proposed MOQ, samples, factory availability and production dates require confirmation after the brief is reviewed.
Target budget is optional. State the currency and whether the number is per unit or for the complete order. Supplier preference can prioritize high-end customization, a balanced proposal, economic scope or open comparison. These choices do not certify a supplier tier. Keep sample charges, tooling, freight, destination charges and exclusions visible when comparing total procurement cost.
